Steve Elloway, President
Mr. Elloway has over 20 years’ experience in the mining industry. Steve has worked internationally on numerous high-profile projects and has a broad and deep background in the mining industry. He is experienced in managing specialty mining projects located in various types of climates and geographic conditions. In addition to his general mining background, Steve has over 20 years’ experience in the drilling industry and has managed the operations of several successful globally recognized drilling companies.
Cassandra Elloway, CFO
Mrs. Elloway is not only co-founder of American Mining and Tunneling but is also a co-founder of American Drilling Corp, where she additionally serves as CFO. Prior to starting American Drilling Corp. Cassandra served as CFO of a publicly traded exploration drilling company from 2006 to 2008, where she managed the transition from privately held to publicly traded. Cassandra also has 12 years of audit experience in public accounting, and is a licensed CPA.
Richard Kenneth Joy (Ken), Director of Operations
Mr. Joy has been involved in a wide variety of construction and mining projects including management, engineering and field operations at locations around North America. Mr. Joy is responsible for Commercial Services including project support, purchasing and equipment management.
CHRISTOPHER CORLEY, OPERATIONS MANAGER
Mr. Corley brings 22 years of specific underground mining experience. As proven industry expert, he has worked in management roles for many of the top producing mining companies in North America. Christopher’s biggest asset is his vast experience of narrow vein conventional mining, development mining and raise mining.
Mark Carlson, Director of Safety and Health
For 25 years, Mark Carlson has been working in the mining industry including serving as an MSHA Mine Inspector. Mark has over 17 years of experience working in multiple management roles. Prior to joining the American team, he served as the Manager of Safety for Nevada Operations at Great Basin Gold.
Steve Timmel, Human Resources Manager
Mr. Timmel has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources with global experience in field operations HR support, best practices, standardization and administration. Mr. Timmel started his Human Resources career in mining at one of the largest mining companies in the world. Mr. Timmel continues to manage improvement initiatives around the globe for all of AMT’s operations.
